But no, okay, let's have a quick once over of what's gone on over the last few days:

A friend of Rex's gets... I don't know, some high tech surgery or something. All metal, I guess. He thinks that Rex did it, which makes sense, since Rex has a history with human experimentation, but upon further consideration, he can't be sure and someone else confesses!

Someone else, who, Let's just be clear, has motive, has means, and who despite the victim having all the reason in the world to protect? He can believe is behind it.

After this? My inmate was bullied, presumed guilty, and had the significance of his rape undermined by wardens and inmates, and then when predictably, he lashed out? You assholes sat around nodding, and reassuring yourselves that this proved you were right.

I've searched his room, I've been through his belongings, and there's nothing he could have used to do what happened to Destro, and I'm not going to punish himself for being provoked beyond the point of acceptability by the self righteous little bitch you left in charge while you were busy condemning Rex.

So, uh, Fuck you guys, and goodnight.

There is one fact you are missing out in this. He attacked my inmate. I do not stand for this on any account. I do not think Judas is entirely blameless in this affair, but the fact remains that he attempted murder in response to something Judas said to him - and something he said in response to an equal insult on Rex's part, in my mind.

No, this was not right behaviour on Juda's part, but it did not warrant him being stabbed in the neck, and it does not warrant you letting him get away with it.

I say nothing of the other circumstances as I was not involved and do not know the situation at all, so would not comment. But I shall say, sir, that no matter of any circumstances, attempted murder on my inmate is not tolerabel in my mind. You are free to do as you will, and I told your inmate this when I took him to zero - but I also expect, sir, that when your inmate attempts murder on mine, that there is something done about it.

I would punish my inmate if he responded to being pressed on the crimes he committed in his life by stabbing someone in the neck. I only ask you do the same.

I do not particularly want input from anyone else on the other situation here, but I do want something to be done about an attack on my inmate. I shall not stand by and let that happen.

I am dealing with my inmates conduct, and excuse me if I don't feel the need to declare his punishment to the general population, but uh, the issue I'm bringing up here? Is the conduct of other wardens and how the hell this got to a point where he was getting insulted about his rape without anyone, including wardens who will not be named who knew what he'd been through, stepping up to say anything on his behalf while they were perfectly happy to tell him to shut up over the matter.

But, hell, just for the record? Your inmate, didn't get stabbed for "pressing Rex on his crimes", he got stabbed for saying that the last time Rex quit the infirmary it was over nothing, when actually? It was over being blamed over the suicide of his rapist.

So again? I'm gonna stick with my initial response of FUCK YOU. Come back when you have half an idea of what you're talking about.

I am not comparing the circumstances of stabbing - but those issues are highly, highly emotional for my inmate and I would understand if he stabbed someone in response to that. Just as I understand why your inmate may wish to stab someone over bringing up such an emotional issue again.

However, I would not tolerate it. I would not let him stab someone. And no, the general population do not have to know of your punishment, but I have the right to know what is being done for the sake of my own inmate. So I can assure him it is being dealt with - and so I can deal with his part in it in good conscience that your inmate's actions are equally being dealt with.

I only speak on what I know. I cannot comment on others' conduct when I do not know the circumstances, as you say, and I do not try to do so. All I wish to know is that the not small issue of my inmate being stabbed is being dealt with on some level.

If I had been able to read at the time, I would have told Judas to retract the words he had said. But I was not able to do so, and I only say that I cannot, no matter of the circumstances, tolerate that action against him, for I would not tolerate that action from him.

So I want to know what you are doing about the situation. My own conduct is not in question and my inmate has been wounded at the hands of yours - and would have died on any other day. I have a right to know, no matter of anyone else.

By which I assume you mean me. As soon as I saw what Judas had done I told him to stop. I put Rex on suspension pending an investigation. His friend was the one who accused him, and if you don't understand that we cannot have people being accused of experimenting on people when we simply don't have the time to supervise them, then I don't know what to tell you.

Further, after what I've done I had always defended Rex, as I've done now. I was the one who saw him put the glass in Judas's neck.

I didn't think he had done whatever to McCullen, but he wouldn't even allow a simple investigation before he quit.

I'm good but we're in an infirmary filled with people who are death tolling, I think it's nearly about a third of the barge that's in here and more who are coming and going with minor wounds.

I barely had time to bloody read anything and only one doctor responded before things went wildly out of control. You're basing the whole bloody infirmary on what Denise did.

You've been wanting a few days off? The infirmary hasn't had any time off since we've gotten back. We're working twenty hours out of every twenty four and most of us have two bloody jobs. You can't even do one.

[Rex smiles a little, then aaaalmost pushes his luck by asking about obtaining a third snake in the future (after it's been demonstrated that he's "earned it back" and all of that). But he wisely changes his mind and nods.] Okay.

[He takes a swig of his beer again. He doesn't really feel the need to force them to make nice, but he feels like he should at least let Rex know not everyone was specifically out to get him.]
