[Apropos of nothing, Harpers communicator suddenly starts playing this. It continues on for a while, without any apparent interference, before He apparently notices what's going on, at which point, you get to hear the fairly bemused voice of an engineer discovering the problem.]
What the hell is...
Uh, is anyone else's journal... playing catchy show tunes from the nineteen thirties? No? Just me? [He gives a sort of nervous laugh.] Okay, okay, that's good. That means that we've got a cause and effect thing here, rather than just one of those little things this place does for fun and profit. Lemme just...
[The song continues, while in the background there sounds the frantic tapping of a very confused engineer trying to work something out. After a couple of minutes, the song ends. Then starts again. Harper emits a small groan, before he gets back to the ancient engineer art of talking to himself. Sarcastically talking to himself.]
Oh, look who's worked out how to remotely secure and activate a piece of audio in my comm unit, I'm so impressed, ya freakin' smartass... Okay, ladies, gentlemen, miscellaneous, please excuse this brief interruption, we should be back to our scheduled programming in five, four, three, two...
[And on cue? The music ends.]
And with that? Show's over.
Rex? I'd like to formally thank you for playing against the undefeated champion, and wish you the very best of luck in round two.
[Ohhh, he sounds so smug. Rex? The date on your monitor just switched to a countdown. You have seven days.]

Date: 2010-06-17 01:23 am (UTC)I have Ana's file. Nothing more than that, but it seems to be lacking somewhat. I was wondering what information you could give me about Rex that pertains to her. This also includes anything they've done on the Barge.
If you can spare the time.
